Last week the Core Developers discovered and fixed an issue that prevented NavPi’s updating 4.2.0 and signal their support for the community fund accumulation soft fork. It was good to see Core Developers rallying to fulfill the objectives laid out in the Developer Manifesto - ensuring the stability of the network takes priority over all other tasks. So thanks to everyone who helped out - and burned the midnight oil for the greater good of the NavCoin network.
Following on from the NavCoin Brand Guidelines published a couple of weeks ago, the NavCoin Core content contributors have added even more resourceful content that will further help empower community members to become active contributors in their own right. Expanding on that theme, there has been plenty of activity by community members this past week - from more merchants in Italy to a tipping bot on Telegram. Developers have been hard at it too, focussing on the retesting of the NavCoin Core 4.2.0 release candidate, and creation of NavCoin Protocol Improvement Proposals (NPIP’s).
A major focus of the past few weeks for NavCoin Core has been creating a range of tools and resources to empower the NavCoin community to be confident contributors within the NavCoin ecosystem.
