The great thing about decentralized community projects like this is that freedom of the individual is paramount. No one can tell you what NavCoin is or isn’t, it is what you make it. This week there have been so many great contributions from all around the world where people are starting to put this empowering idea into practice.

There has been a lot more activity within the NavCoin community over the past few weeks. More and more people are getting involved and contributing their own ideas and projects — which is exactly as it should be. NavCoin is a free community that no one owns or controls. It’s up to you to help make it a thriving environment for anyone who is passionate about blockchain technology. You don’t have to ask anyone’s permission — just do it!

You might have noticed that the NavCoin Community News has been getting longer and longer recently. There’s a lot to share with you, and as you’ll see it’s not just developers who are making impressive contributions. The beauty of the NavCoin community is that everyone can participate, and you don’t need to be tech-guru. Last week we heard about someone giving out NavCoin pens and this week there’s another example of a code-free NavCoin community initiative.

This week the core team have started creating NavCoin Core manifesto documents, and we see a fantastic example of how members without coding skills can contribute to the project.

Last week was all go for Nav community developers as they crammed five days work into four before taking Friday off for the Easter holiday. Alex was in New Zealand on a flying visit and caught up with some of the locals who were keen to get the benefit of his wisdom and experience on all things blockchain. The new NavCoin community hub at navhub.org has been launched and the navcoin.org website reorganized.

This week saw Alex pass his years of blockchain experience onto developers Mike, Paul and Matt in order to upskill them on the advanced parts of NavCoin core.

This week the community and developers have been busy contributing to a range of NavCoin projects including NavPi, planning the upcoming NavCoin community website, and NavMorph. Now let’s take a closer look at what they’ve been doing.

This week again there has been steady development progress across the main layer two applications which the NavCoin Core team are building on top of the NavCoin protocol.
